i'm talking about two particular questions that i've come across recently - "where do i get my dog's ears pierced" and "should i sue the vet who left my dog with crooked " the first question- well what can you say, thick or what. and the second- well this idiot reckoned her dog would suffer from self-image problems after her were left misaligned after being spayed. i mean how stupid can people get. why do so many put human emotions to their dog. a dog is a dog not a human or a dolly so why not treat them as our canine friends deserve, they are much happier as dogs. the amount of money these idiots spend on silly things like fancy frocks and totally unnecessary therapy could be better spent helping people or abused animals. what do you think and why?

How can i make sre the saddle doesnt slip!?

Sleepwalking problem?

Since I was three I've had night terrors where I would scream while I slept and that kind of stuff. Later, when I was about 9, I began to sleepwalk. About a year ago, I saw one of those History Channel doentaries on religion and they discussed this small mountain village where a community of Jews lived along side a community of Muslims. I would tend to agree. I would even go one step further and say that your statement still works if you remove the word "Horror" for most of the crap that's out there these days. The reason you like those horror movies you mentioned is that there was a strong plot in each. The story is what is most important, whether in a horror film, a comedy, action pic, or drama. If the emphasis is on what they can do with a computer in post production, the film suffers. Not to say that effects are a bad thing, but they are to serve the story, not the other way around.

Whats should the rpm on a 1999 infiniti q45 be when the its on and its on and on P?

hello, i have an automatic1999 infiniti q45 and im having a bit of a problem with it. When i start the car up the RPM seems to be a little low when its on and parked, it reads about 800 rpm, but when i put it on reverse or drive it drops real low to almost 500 rpm and it feels like its gonna turn off. once i drive it around for a while it goes up a little bit, when im at a stop or a red light it reads about 700, and when i park it after driving it, it reads 800 but if i accelerate it its goes up to 900 and stays there, i wanna know what i can do and if thats the normal rpm for my car. i had the MAF sensor cleaned thinking that was gonna be it, but it didnt help. Would adjusting the RPM to 1000 help. i would appreciate your answers =)

How do i get my parents to see my point of view?

Many doctors run conveyor belt practices (5 minutes of almost nothing = $200), take "gifts" from pharmaceuticals, waste your time, don't return phone calls, don't even pretend to care about their patients. Mostly these doctors are nothing more than glorified technicians. You are more likely to find decent, caring and competent doctors among those who run specialty practices. They probably are more secure in themselves and don't have to fight tooth and claw for the money.

Is the stock market phony?

Everyday at 3:30pm it seems like the market turns upward almost like clockwork. No matter what the news - it doesn't matter. Experts say all kinds of funky explanations for this but this simply never used to happen with such regularity. Is this some kind of manipulation going on or what is it? This seems to be especially true on down days where at 3:30 it reverses course and closes up. On up days it becomes an almost parabolic climb on those days starting at again 3:30pm. It's so noticeable that they have even been commenting on it or laughing about it likes its some kind of inside joke on CNBC but nobody really wants to explain it. What is up?

The best way that children can be succesfully educated is that they are provided with proper boundaries and are taught proper behavior from an early age. There are high perfroming schools in poor areas but these are few! WE need more dedicated,serious teachers. A way to help is to raise the salary for teachers. There is not a job more important! Make sure that ALL schools are funded well not just the ones in well-to-do areas. (This is crucial!)

How long do percocets take to kick in?

sometimes I have lost friends due to my behavior, and also from being so depressed- I would let them go. it is hard to be around someone who is depressed, just as it is hard sometimes with other illnesses people don't understand. This is caused by protein and other waste products in the water, it creates a sticky film on the surface. It can be a real pain if it becomes rather thick and it can also block out light. New tanks are particularly prone to this however it can easily be removed by skimming the water surface with some grease-proof paper.

I hate being around people. I'm happy when I'm by myself. I'm unhappy when I'm around people. I'm 19. A normal day for me is real simple. I wake up, & go to school: college that is. I get home & go to my private gym. I do weights, boxing, & cardio. Then I go eat. I come back home to study. Last night I had it out with my neighbors, now I don't know how to handle the situation?

I've lived in my new apartment for 3 months. During that time, I've had to listen to my neighbors put the headboard through my wall countless times at 3 or 4 a.m. It has been so bad I moved out to the couch for two months. Now, I decided that I pay rent and I deserve to sleep in my bedroom. So, last night at 3 a.m. like clockwork I get woken up by a squeaky mattress, moaning, and a headboard banging up against my wall so hard I thought it was going to knock down the photo on the wall. I ended up banging on the wall in retaliation...first time I've done that. Well, I thought that ended it. But, they kept it up and banged back, so I went ballistic and pounded on the wall until they stopped. But, I'm afraid I've opened Pandora's box with this situation. Have you had to deal with this type of thing before? What do I do about it? The management can't do anything to them unless they come and hear the disturbance, which is not going to happen at 3 a.m. Should I get out my phone and record it and email it to them when it happens that way they have proof? I've never seen these people before because we live on different sides of the building, and we will never cross paths. I'm just afraid every time I make a noise they are going to bang against my wall, and when they have every night at 3 a.m. they are going to purposely make extra noise. I want to make two matching lamps for a console table. Looking to save some cash I went to Target and bought two large black cylinder shaped candle holders that have a design cut out on them. There is no way for you to go straight into Special Ops with no experience. And once you actually have some military experience, most likely you not even make selection. If you want to be Special Forces you have to join the Army as infantry 11 series or similar combat MOS, if you want to be a SEAL join the Navy as a diver. I just moved to Portland a year ago and I dislike the state. There are a number of things that have irritated me since we moved out here. I did my research prior to moving. That research included the internet and looking on yahoo answers for opinions. Reading through all the information I thought that it sounded like a better place to live than where I was originally from. Once I moved out here I noticed it was nothing like where I had come from. Nosy, mean, and unwelcome neighbors and people. This included one person wanting to kill my dog because she was barking at her and then someone came up to me and asked if that was our dog in our back yard and she was going to call animal control. Taxes up the f*** wahoo, roads that are not cared for, messed up governmental program and budget, and so on. My most recent complaint with the system is with the recent weather that there are NO snow plows, no one to take care of the roads, rock on the road which broke my window on my car, and deicer that does not work below 25 degrees. Come on seriously. Why would you use or even buy deicer that does not work below 25 degrees it does not make sense. They would not even touch this stuff back home. It is useless!! What the heck is up with not plowing the secondary roads? They had our roads cleared by 9AM in the morning and I lived 25 miles for a major city and 10 miles from town. No snow plows? That is just stupid that the state would not have enough snow plows for such a large area and population. I know something lets just put up a chain requirment and shut down the city. Then hand out 250 dollar tickets to anyone on the road with out chains. I also think that it is f*** messed up that the public has to help the fire department and amblence service get unstuck after they went onto a secondry road to help someone. Only to get stuck and delay the helping of residence. It is stupid!!! Don't believe me search for it on katu or kgw. My mom developed a case of poison ivy about a week ago on her arm. A few days later she started noticing little bumps popping up in other places. Ok this is gonna sound very VERY weird but i need opinions. Before my wife and I moved from South Carolina to Texas about 4 years ago. She filled for child custody and support for her 8 year old (4 at the time). Her and her son’s father did not appear before a judge at the time. They met at the courthouse and had a mutual agreement, making her the custodial parent and awarded her child support which she only agreed to half anyway. Now the non-custodial parent (the dad) wants to take us to court and take custody. Is the doent from the courthouse good enough to hold him back? What do you think of the wussification of America?

By wussification i mean softening America. We are making Americans more wimpy. You can see examples of this from early childhood to the military. In a lot of schools children aren't allowed to play dodgeball. There are middle schoolers who play sports that don't allow winners and losers. I'm talking about football, soccer, baseball. All sports with clearly defined winners and losers. Yet we don't want to have the losing team feel bad. In high schools across america there are policies that suspend students who get in fights outside of school. You can get in a fight with someone in your front yard and still get suspended from school. In the army they aren't allowed to yell profanities at you, and they have to be more "sensitive" to the needs and emotions of their soldiers. What do you think about it? Do you have any examples to share? If you aren't from America, have you seen this happening in your country? What do you think of ours?

There is a crisis of financial mismanagement by the political cl at nearly all levels. I live in a city that is effectively bankrupt, a state in nearly the same condition, and U.S.' national debt levels are pointing down the same path as Greece's. Widespread bailouts are not the answer as they only encourage continued irresponsible behavior by the politicians. And our media still can't fathom what has created the Tea Party movement.

drop ur d backs into a zone (or man but make sure can still cover everyone after you do what im about to tell you) then send all your line backers in on a blitz (4 d linemen make this work best)...thats 7 guys at most rushing the qb and 5 at most blocking....this should either force a sack or a bad throw...depends on how good the guy you're playing is and if he can spot it comming...don't do it every play...also if you have got your opponent in 3rd and long run a deep zone with 3 d line ....he will have to p it short and then you can gang tackle the guy...these things will also stop the run....(the deep zone thing will still alow him to get almost a first down but should stop him from getting there if you do it right.....maybe 3-5 yards back from the line)

It is always sad to hear of such selfish parents. First, he is your Mother's husband not your Step dad. My suggestion, if you are going to be in town for seven days, or longer, invite your Mother and sister to meet you, your baby and your girlfriend for lunch. Make it very clear to Mom that her husband is not invited. Visit with your Mom only in a public place. If you are there for less than a week you really don't have a lot of time to visit with everyone other than your friends. I do hope your sister can visit you often at your friends houses, that she is safe and can find a better life soon. Under no cirstance should you go to your Mom's house! You have no idea what you may be walking into...

How should I remove wire covers / concealers stuck to drywall with double-sided tape w/o damaging the wall?

Trying to get married but have no money.?

my partner and i have been engaged for 4 years and after having kids decided that now is the right time. we are both working 7 days a week to get some money together for it but it's not happening. we have tried to take loans and everything. i know we have all the time in the world, but it's starting to feel like it is never going to happen. you can get married for about 50 quid now in a registary but i feel we deserve better than that as you only do it once. i dont want a huge wedding costing thousands of pounds but a bit of money spend would make us feel better. any help?

Even the apostle Paul suffered an infirmity and God told him, "My grace is sufficient". How much greater than Paul do you feel you are? If you want to claim the promises of God there are conditions that apply. Jeep 1997 Code P1494. My car will not go over 30 mph uphill and dies 3-4 times a day. And i'm broke! HELP?

I have about 9 codes. most involving cylinder misfires. but the last code showing up is p1494. i have read this is a dealer code, having to do w/ the leak detection pump. my car audibly sounds like it is leaking air beneath it, barely goes over 30-35 miles an hr uphill, and is eating up my gas at nearly 1/2 the mileage it used to get. when i open the gas cap, it hisses for a few seconds every time. it seems like there could be a vacuum issue, as I am not getting much power. multiple times a day, the car will turn off completely, at a light or slow turn, or even in the middle of the freeway. it 'puts' off, sputtering out slowly. sometimes, it used to do this for a a few seconds, then kick back on and drive normal. but slowly but surely, it has become more and more common, and is now just the permanent state of my car. this car has many other issues. it has 3 different sized tires. 2 of the tires are bald. the differential fluid is black, and needs to be changed desperately. there are various electrical issues, and some mechanics have said a sensor is bad? I bought this car used for about $1300. I had a new catalytic converter put in, had the oil changed one paycheck, and the spark plugs changed another. I've been doing things little by little as I can. I know there are many things the car needs, but in this economy, i unfortunatley have to prioritize. as in, which one will get me to work this week, so i can even get my paycheck. lol. i would much prefer to fix this issue myself, even if it does involve more of my time. at least i will learn about my car :) Can I fix this myself? What exactly is wrong w/ my car? I appreciate any help.
