A question about muscle and nerve pain...It's kinda long?

Two disorders come to mind when I read your situation. First, a possible slipped disk in the neck, which may need to be operated on but definitely needs to be x-rayed. Second, possibly Shingles. The welts and blisters kind of make me think that Shingles is a possibility. You may just want to go to a General Practitioner and have him/her decide if a specialist is needed.
