Marriage with an adopted daughter in ISLAM?

My age is 50 years old. I have adopted a 7 years old baby. Now my adopted daughter is 17 years old. But I have fallen in her love and want to marry with my adopted daughter. Islamic laws allow me to marry with her but non religious Muslim have objection against this marriage. What should I do? How can I marry with her?
