My cat is 6 years old, i have to move in with my parents and they say i have to get her declawed, Im opposed?

its only a temporary situation until i can find a apartment and a roommate. She doest scratch but they don't want her around their claw less cats. Why should she have to suffer that pain when its not a problem otherwise? i told them that she can live in my room but they still insist. i dont have money to get it done either. it seems like more problems than it is solving. What should i do?
