How do you uncharge an AEG battery? (airsoft battery)?

The battery I have needs to be uncharged before recharging it, and the charger it came with doesn't have that capability. I understand I should just buy a charger that does that, but I can't right now. So does anyone have any non-complicated besides dry-firing or wasting BBs to uncharge it?
