Group fundraising ideas?

I am part of a youth group for kids age 10- 17, there are about 20 of us including three adults, and we need to raise money for a upcoming event. We have a little over a year to raise about 2,000 dollars. needless to say we have a LOT of fundraising in our futures. the only problem is we don't know where to start. the only group fundraiser we can think of is a car wash, and we really need more ideas. Please suggest any group fundraisers you can think of. Thank you!
