What to do at my friends party?

My friend Alec is turned sixteen today and we're throwing him a party tomorrow. It's not going to be a big party, just me, my boyfriend and our friend, Anna. He has been upset lately for personal reasons and I bought him a ton of gag gifts to cheer him up. Other than that, what can I do to take his mind off things? The gifts we got were a paddle, a shaped lollipop, a bad *** bracelet, a teenage mutant ninja turtles poster and his bag says birthday babe. So what else is there to cheer him up and make him laugh and forget about things?:)
