Your Opinion on Portland, OR?

I just moved to Portland a year ago and I dislike the state. There are a number of things that have irritated me since we moved out here. I did my research prior to moving. That research included the internet and looking on yahoo answers for opinions. Reading through all the information I thought that it sounded like a better place to live than where I was originally from. Once I moved out here I noticed it was nothing like where I had come from. Nosy, mean, and unwelcome neighbors and people. This included one person wanting to kill my dog because she was barking at her and then someone came up to me and asked if that was our dog in our back yard and she was going to call animal control. Taxes up the f*** wahoo, roads that are not cared for, messed up governmental program and budget, and so on. My most recent complaint with the system is with the recent weather that there are NO snow plows, no one to take care of the roads, rock on the road which broke my window on my car, and deicer that does not work below 25 degrees. Come on seriously. Why would you use or even buy deicer that does not work below 25 degrees it does not make sense. They would not even touch this stuff back home. It is useless!! What the heck is up with not plowing the secondary roads? They had our roads cleared by 9AM in the morning and I lived 25 miles for a major city and 10 miles from town. No snow plows? That is just stupid that the state would not have enough snow plows for such a large area and population. I know something lets just put up a chain requirment and shut down the city. Then hand out 250 dollar tickets to anyone on the road with out chains. I also think that it is f*** messed up that the public has to help the fire department and amblence service get unstuck after they went onto a secondry road to help someone. Only to get stuck and delay the helping of residence. It is stupid!!! Don't believe me search for it on katu or kgw. What is your opinion becuase I have no respect for the city of Portland or the poeple. I am ready to move again and I won't be coming back.
