Once you file for divorce can you begin to date before the 60 days are up and not be penalized ?
You should not date until your divorce is final. Whether it be 60 days or 1 year. Especially if you have grounds against your spouse, you may blow it out of the water. I know a guy who caught his wife red handed having an affair. He was going for the house and no alimony. She was not fighting because he had her. He was definitely going to come out on top. In all preliminary hearings the judge had ruled in his favor. Shortly before his divorce was final he started dating someone. Well, his wife turned around and slapped him with adultery and he lost the house and had to pay her alimony. I have a friend going through one now and she caught her soon to be ex in an affair. Her attorney told her after 20 years of marriage and multiple affairs, she was entitled to half of everything, plus lifetime alimony on top of child support. She started seeing someone and now we don't know how things are going to turn out. She may still come out great but her odds aren't so great and her attorney is very upset. You have time to date after the divorce. Enjoy being single for awhile. Hang out with your friends. Concentrate on yourself. Good Luck!
