How does a doctor treat the swelling of a wisdom tooth?

I tooth is so swollen you can see one cheek is bigger than the other...it hurts so much I cry and I have a ver very high pain treshhold...I think ill need antibiotics but can he give me a very fast pain reliever? I feel lol I will faint from the pain...
