Question about gift for golfer boyfriend..? 10 pts.?

Hi, I've been trying to think of a good gift to give my boyfriend for golfing. He has been golfing for about a year and a half, and is pretty good but like everyone can always get better. I don't want to get him any golf clubs or anything because he knows what he likes. I though about getting him a golf practice hitting net, but decided against it after reading reviews about how cheap most of them are made. I was doing research and found something Birdie with the strike pad mat attached to it from the birdie ball company. There were excellent reviews from many people on the website. I think they would be good for him to practice in his backyard when he can't get to a driving range...and he won't lose the or they won't go to far, as they only go up to 40 yards. I was just wondering if anyone has used these or heard about them?? Thank you very much for your help!
